Ferghas' Adventures

Ferghas found the Brandsbutt Stone tucked between quiet houses, its serpent and crescent carved deep into the whinstone. He tilted his head at the ogham script, lips moving as he tried to sound it out. “IRATADDOARENS,” he whispered. “Sounds like a sneeze—or a saint with secrets.” He chuckled, then leaned in close. “If you’re hiding a riddle, old stone, I’ll find it. Might take a coo and a picnic, but I’ll get there.” The wind stirred, and Ferghas grinned, already planning his next location.
