Ferghas' Adventures

Walking near Aberlour, Ferghas came across a bridge with castle like towers over the water. He had seen the bridge several times in passing but never had the time to stop by. "Today is the day" he said and proceeded down the little path. "What a wonderful little spot" he thought, Ferghas didn't wander straight over the bridge but went down beside it to the river. Felling his hoofs hurt after the long walk he decided to take a dip and cool off. He let out a soft moo as the cool water took effect soothing him. Just as he was feeling calm and content he heard a loud 'Splash!' and looked beside him to see a very large white dog smiling at him in the water wagging its tail, it then jumped further into the river. Ferghas laughed and watched the dog swim in circles. Ferghas then decided to paddle in a bit himself. They played in the water passing each other for a while before Ferghas got out. Ferghas wanted to see the bridge before leaving so moo'ed a little goodbye to the white dog (who continued to paddle away merrily) Ferghas looked at the bridge and read the plaques, then went under the pass to the park. Seeing the kids playing away on the swings made him smile. He then proceeded to eat some of the nearby grass . It is a lovely day he thought and began to walk again.
