Ferghas' Adventures
An early evening visit saw Ferghas arrive at the picturesque Fochabers Riverwalk and Memorial, bathed in the lingering warmth of a sunny day. He first explored the tranquil memorial garden, its quiet beauty a poignant reminder amidst the vibrant natural setting. To his east, the elegant wooden bridge arched gracefully over the water, leading his eye towards the intriguing fish ladders designed to aid the local salmon. His gaze then drifted westward, where "The Sand Pit" offered a tempting swimming spot, bordering the expansive Spey Way – a perfect pathway for explorers. A slight annoyance, however, was his oversight: he'd completely forgotten his bug spray, a decision he might soon regret as the warmth began to fade. Despite this minor oversight, the atmosphere was welcoming, and he soon encountered several local residents enjoying their own early evening strolls, their dogs happily trotting beside them, exchanging polite nods and brief greetings that underscored the peaceful community spirit of the place.
So much to see and explore on this walk, very calming and beautiful 🐮
