Ferghas' Adventures
Ferghas knew he was in for a trek here. As he looked up at the tower in the distance, Ferghas let out a low breath and began to walk. As he left the bustle of the local park and made his way up the steps to the main path he saw that the trail would be a zigzag to the top. "One hoof in front of the other Ferghas" he said and began up the leaf stroon path "this is a lovely walk" he said as the leaves crunched . Just as he was becoming lost in thought, a collection of bicyclists came hurtling down the hill side. They weaved around the trees and roots so gracefully, this clearly wasn't their first time "how fun" thought Ferghas. With the enthusiasm of the bicyclists rubbing off, the route up felt lighter. As he continued he heard a familiar 'squeak' and looked around. "Squeaky!" he exclaimed "what are you doing here?"
"visiting the tower obviously" he said and they continued up the trail with squeaky leaping from tree to tree as they went up.
"I didn't know that a stone tower would interest you squeak" said Ferghas
"normally no" said squeaky "but I do love a view".
In what felt like minutes, the two reached the summit and the tower stood before them.
"wow" said Ferghas
"yeah" said Squeaky
The two played for a while around the cannons and tower before resting upon the bench and watching the sunset "thanks for the fun Ferghas" said Squeaky and they both smiled as the sky turned a deep Orange.
The walk through the uphill woodlands to see this was well worth it, the view from the top was beautiful 🐮
