Ferghas' Adventures

There is nothing Ferghas likes more sometimes than a nice walk with flowers and fresh smells, Of course a ride in a small wooden train is fun too. He loves the idea of having the wind whistle through his fur as the steam engine ploughs on through the countryside. Today he went to see the fairy walk in Portgordon, he had heard all about it from his friends and thought "I best go see this for myself". He knew it wasn't a long walk though what he didn't expect, was for it to be such a mystical walk. He began at the little glen created for games, playing and story telling. He nuzzled his nose in the flowers as he walked by and watched as a small bee made its way around the blossoms. He then continued down the walk and felt like he was being watched, he turned around quickly but saw just the path he had come down. As he continued he heard little bells ringing, not noisy church bells, little bells so small they couldn't possibly make noise but they did. He continued down the path and everything seemed to shine like glitter, but there was nothing sparkling say for the little burn that run along side the path. So what was all this? as he walked down he came across a wooden man upon a perch. He mooed at the man and smiled but he did nothing, as Ferghas walked away he could have sworn the head moved and watched him. Ferghas spun around quick but the man was exactly where he first saw him "what is going on here?" Ferghas thought to himself. He continued down and enjoyed seeing all the little displays and flowers planted on the walk. But Ferghas could never shake the feeling that something, a little bit Magical was happening down that lane.
